The temple is one of the most neglected areas of study in the religious world today.
Sadly, many try to observe the feast of the Lord but disregard the temple context, its
laws and temple protocols. The controversy over the calendars in connection to the
feast and the days of Pentecost (Shavuot) is always a point of division in the body of
Messiah. In this teaching Rico will address this question about calendars, first fruits,
using the temple language as is explained In Ezekiel 44:23-24
23 And they will teach my people the difference between what is holy and what is unholy, and the difference between unclean and clean they must show them.
24 And at a legal dispute they themselves shall stand to judge; employing my judgments they shall judge it, and with respect to my laws and my statutes. All my festivals they shall keep and my Sabbaths they shall consecrate
Clearly, scriptures give us the structure to better understand the feast in connection to the temple protocol. The Torah and Writings explains who has legal right to declare the dates of the calendar base on the agricultural cycles. Rico explains how to reconcile the controversy that have existed from the time of the second temple period.
